BH COMPANIES RECEIVES INDUSTRY ACCLAIM FOR COVID-19 PANDEMIC RESPONSE

DES MOINES, Iowa – BH Companies is pleased to share insight into their Covid-19 Pandemic Response Plan through interviews that BH Leadership Team members gave to industry partners, RealPage and SightPlan.

RealPage, a leading multifamily property management software company, hosted a webcast this week with BH’s Vice President of Support Operations, Christi Weinstein. A segment of their Smart Solutions Series, the webcast focuses on Optimizing Today’s Workforce. During the interview, Weinstein and RealPage Vice President of Learning Solutions, Katie McCaslin, discuss new challenges facing the workforce in today’s Covid-19 climate and the innovative learning and development initiatives that BH is using to combat difficult market conditions.

Weinstein shares with listeners the ways in which BH is improving adoption of property management operations with a remote workforce, how BH is keeping teams connected and engaged, and why BH believes in investing in their employees in order to retain talented individuals. Brandy Daniel, BH’s Vice President of Business Intelligence Systems, also provided insight to RealPage on the topic of how to outperform in a changing market with revenue management, another segment of their Smart Solutions Series. The RealPage Senior Vice President of Revenue Management, Amy Dreyfuss, and Industry Principal of Asset Optimization, David Polewchak, speak with numerous multifamily owners and operators about the changing aspects of revenue management during the Covid-19 crisis. Daniel discusses the drivers and benefits of revenue management, why revenue management is essential in the current market, and what the costs that are associated with not implementing revenue management. SightPlan, a leading software tool for maintenance and facilities solutions, conducted a case study on resident satisfaction with maintenance requests across BH’s portfolio, in addition to speaking with BH Director of Facilities, Robbie Parker, about his experience with implementing their software. Three years ago, BH deployed SightPlan Operations Suite nation-wide to improve operational effectiveness and ease the load on existing teams through gained efficiencies.
