DALLAS, Texas — The communities of Curry Junction, Timber Ridge, and Riatta Ranch will be hosting a volleyball tournament to benefit the Ronald McDonald House-Fort Worth on July 15,2016. The tournament will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and is to be held at Riatta Ranch Apartments located at 1111 Musken Road, Abilene, Texas 79601.

The aim of the event is to act as a fundraiser while inspiring others to join the battle against childhood illness. All funds raised will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House-Fort Worth to assist with the care of families affected by this hardship.

“Their mission to take care of families dealing with the stress and strain of childhood illness is a mission we are excited to support!  Our hope in hosting this tournament is to come together with members of the Abilene community to assist this worthy organization that has assisted so many of our own,” Curry Junction Property Manager, Lezlie Sifuentes, said. Registration for the 24-team single elimination tournament can be completed online at or in person at any of the three BH Management communities. Teams of three will be able to register for $45 or $60 (t-shirt included) and will receive a ‘registration packet’ upon payment.

Each packet will contain tournament rules, information about RMHFW, information about BH Management, and a waiver of liability. Each participant must sign a waiver to participate and teams will be notified of their scheduled game time prior to July 15, 2016.

Funds will also be raised in the form of t-shirt sales, food & drink sales, and donations during the event. Alcohol is not permitted and proper attire is required.
