BH MANAGEMENT SERVICES, LLC NAMED ONE OF THE 2018 BEST WORKPLACES FOR WOMEN

Friday, November 9, 2018

DES MOINES, IA – BH Management Services, LLC is proud to announce that Great Place to Work and FORTUNE have, once again, honored BH as one of the 2018 Best Workplaces for Women.  “What really makes this special is that the rankings come from BH employees, who cited great pride, great culture and exciting challenges as reasons for working here”, said BH President, Joanna Zabriskie.

The ranking is based on an anonymous survey representing more than 4.5 million US employees from businesses across all sectors of the economy, including 885 BH employees.  Great Place to Work, a global analytics and consulting firm, analyzed responses to over 60 different metrics measuring the extent to which their organizations create a Great Place to Work for All™. Companies in which women have equally great experiences as their colleagues and that have a strong representation of women in the workforce and leadership positions are rewarded in the rankings. This year BH Management took the #34 on the list, a jump from their #71 ranking in 2017.

“We are continually looking for ways to make BH a better place to work for all of our team members, including new short-term disability plans, birthday PTO and competitive compensation packages,” stated Zabriskie.

A quick breakdown of BH’s employee diversity: BH executives are 86% women and 14% men; BH mid-level managers are 79% women and 21% men; frontline managers are 60% women and 40% men; and their overall workforce is 49% female and 51% male.

“This year, we pledged to close the employee experience gender gap by 2020, and these winning organizations are leading the way in achieving this mission, proving that all companies, regardless of their industry, size, or complexity, can be great workplaces for women,” said Michael Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work.

The Best Workplaces for Women list is one of a series of rankings by Great Place to Work and FORTUNE, and they also ranked BH Management as a Best Workplace for Millennials in 2018 and 2017.
